Vermont Art Garden
The Path of Life Garden is open to the public and is a celebration of life, nature and sculpture. Eighteen unique garden areas are located along a twisting path through a field. Each area is symbolic of a distinct life phase. At the beginning of the Garden, there is a Tunnel of Oblivion where visitors enter. This continues onward to various other areas that include an 800-tree hemlock maze that is representative of childhood adventure, a Tree of Wisdom which signifies the learning process as we go through life, and a towering driftwood band made from salvaged wood that symbolizes the area of Creativity. On average, visitors spend 40 minutes traversing the various areas with the help of signposts and a Garden Map. However, guests are welcome to spend as much time as they would like exploring the Path of Life Garden. It is a place for relaxing, family experience and transformation.
NEARBY ATTRACTIONS: Still River Kayak Rentals, Simon Pearce Pottery, The Harpoon Brewery and the Simon Pearce Glass Factory are all located within short walking distance of the Path of Life Garden. Consider spending an entire day walking through our gardens, as well as watching pottery and glass being made, renting a kayak or taking time to enjoy a sandwich at the Harpoon Brewery.
OTHER ATTRACTIONS: Windsor, Vermont is just 4 miles from the Path of Life Garden. Historic attractions include the longest covered bridge in the United States, the American Precision Museum, as well as the Vermont Constitution House.
